Project Brief Description: Described as "three ways to melt a chocolate bunny," this advertisement for Cut 'n Paste for KRO Television in the Netherlands presents just that: a chocolate bunny slowly destroyed by an iron, heat lamp, and hair dryer while evocative music plays. I used this video as an introduction to the idea of disappearance via entropy: all matter travels asymmetrically towards decay. In my presentation, I framed the projects in three categories: Material Entropy, Entropy of the Self, and The Refusal of Entropy. A poignant and humorous example of material decay, this project introduced the first category.
